Birthday: October 15th 1996 Likes: I like to have fun, run, chase things, play frizby, soccor, basketball. I love to play one on one. Anything that gets me up and makes me run. Like a ball. I love to chase cats and other dogs, especally if they are in big trucks. And I LOVE ALL PEOPLE!! Pet-Peeves: Getting baths and being by myself and having nothing to chase. Having to have my hair shaved off for the summer heat. I also hate fireworks. Favorite Toy: Tennis balls, sticks, frizbee, soccer ball, anything thrown. Favorite Food: Anything thing that has raw meat and/or cheese in it. Favorite Walk: I don't take walks, I run, fast. We go on a daily 5 mile run down a country road amongst vinyards. Best Tricks: I can play a toy piano for a treat and I'll shake paws. But really my best trick is rolling in really smelly things I find out in the field. For some reason my family hates that trick. Arrival Story: Well we wanted a family dog and spotted her advertised in the paper. So we went over to see the litter and fell in love with her at first sight. We gave her to the kids for a Christmas present. They loved her too. She has been the best dog. Bio: We lived in the town where she was born for Mandy's first 6 years of life. We used to take her to the beaches everyday and she would run for about 3 hours in the summertime. She would play and run with one dog till he/she would get tired and leave and then another would come to play. Ususally we wear out three dogs before she got tired (or mom got tired). Everyone knew Mandy and loved her and when we moved we had people stopping by our house to say their goodbyes to her. She by far had way more friends then we did. We even had some people stop and ask if they could buy her from us. But fat chance, we would never sell her in a million years even if we were offered a billion dollars. She misses all her friends there. It was wonderful dog friendly city. Now we live on the other side of the state we are all getting adjusted to not as many places to make friends and play. We have no beaches or woods. For awhile last summer she was swimming in a big manmade pond for a vineyard but the owner kicked us out. Now we have to find a slow flowing place on the river for her to cool off in during the summer heat. She does have new dog friend however. Forums Motto: I'm the alpha of all alphas! Dear Rosco,
My mom has a new hobby and I get to go with her sometimes, if I'm good. She climbs on the back of this big animal with four long legs and a long neck. This is when things get really fun. I just can't seem to help myself and even though this animal is allot bigger then I am something takes over me and I start barking, chasing and nipping at its feet. Then mom get's very upset with me and ties me to the fence. They ride around inside the fences for awhile and then she unties me and we go out into this huge field. I have to run really fast to keep up with them. Sometimes I get left way behind. But they always come back for me running really fast. I also found some really good things to eat just laying around on the ground. Now whenever mom get's in the car I hope she takes me with her back up to our friends house to go running through the fields.
Dear Rosco,
Have you ever met a budgy before? You don't wanna. I know. One lives at my house. The humans seem to like this one. But I DON'T!
Allow me to explain. Last night while the humans were watching the "box-of-moving-photos" in a dark room, I was just minding my own business smelling the new rug, when all of a sudden that bird put his claws into my fir and was standing on me. Luckily I scared him off. Boy that gave me quite a scare.
Another anoying thing that bird does is yell all day. Even when I'm outside I can still hear his horrid, screaching voice.
Well I'm done complaining.
