Arrival Story:
I was a surprise that my mommy got after her two year old Collie Rascal had to be put to sleep because he had cancer. I was in the kitchen when she came home and she was so happy that she started to cry and hugged me so tight. She always tells me that I was best thing that ever happened to her.
Bio:
I'm looking for friends who live on Long Island and are willing to play. I can be shy around strangers but I'll warm up after meeting you a few different times. I love to meet new doggie friends and love sleeping over Daddy's house so I can play with Ashes and Misty. Mommy says I'm a real beach bum, just like her. And it's true what they say, a way to a man's heart is through his stomach...give me a little piece of cheese or a nice beef flavored chew and I'm all your's. Cuddling on the couch with a good book and a good friend are one of my favorite rainy day activities. I enjoy playing catch, and chasing the geese that live in the field behind my house. I love watching them scatter and fly away! Oh, and ripping that weird fuzz of tennis balls is really cool. But most of all I love to cuddle with Mommy and Daddy.

Mommy just gave me some horrible news! She's planning on giving me a bath today. I can't help it if the mud looked like it would be fun to play in. This is horrible. I'm doomed!
I'm excited because we're going to PETCO today. Even though Mommy's sick she's taking me out. I want a new bone, or maybe a new ball, or no wait! One of those fancy doggie beds...hmmmm...no, not the fancy bed. I sleep on Mommy's so I don't need one. But a new bone would be great! I love going to PETCO because I get to walk around inside and pick out the stuff that I want. And sometimes I'll even run into a few friends!
Well, Mommy's calling me and saying it's time to go out. Woof!
