Happy Birthday to ME!

Today I turned one year old. My Mummy and Daddy sang happy birthday to me and gave me a Kong filled with peanut butter as a treat. I had a wonderful day. It snowed yesterday and today so I went outside with my Mummy and my sis, Ming, and played in the snow. I love digging my head in the snow and prancing around. Too much fun.

It has been such an exciting day.

Bath Time!!! Ugh!

Well, every week my Mummy gives me a nice warm bath. I don't like it. As a matter of fact, I can hardly wait until it's over with. When I'm finished my bath, my Mummy gives me a treat for being a good girl. So, after I'm done my bath, I run around like crazy while my sister has her bath. I'm not the biggest fan of that machine that blows air either. Irk!

After I'm dry my Mummy usually combs and brushes my fur and then puts a bow or something in my hair. After my last bath, my Mummy decided to make us look like aliens. She thought it would be cute. And it was I suppose although it was a wee bit annoying having the elastics put in our hair. Irk!

Wee Hoo!

I'm really liking my new home and my Mummy and Daddy. Our house is really big and there are so many places for me to search. I haven't been into every room just yet as I like to use the toilet just about everywhere, although I use the newspaper a lot and I go outside a lot too. I also like to chew just about everything I can find. I play fight with my sister (Ming) a lot. Sometimes I let her know that I am the big sister. She doesn't like that much but we continue playing anyways. My Mummy gets me up out of bed everyday and she gives us lots of treats when we do things right. I can jump on and off the step going outside now. I'm quite the show off as Ming isn't tall enough to do it just yet. Mummy put a collar on us this week...and a leash. I didn't like that at all...and that collar...icky...makes my neck itchy! Oh...and did I mention I've had two baths. I don't like having a bath but I feel SOOO good afterwards.

YEAHHHH!!!! We're home!

Wee hoo! We finally came home on Friday night, January 28, 2005. When my Mummy and Daddy came to pick me and my sister up we were playing with all of the other big dogs. We were wearing bandanas around our necks and we smelled so good. We went for a short drive and soon we were home. Our new house is really big so I was a little afraid at first but my sister Ming was with me so that made it a lot easier. We cuddled up with our Mummy and Daddy and watched tv for a bit and then we went to bed in our special bed our Mummy made for us. We didn't cry as we knew we were safe plus we were pretty pooped after such a long and exciting day. Our Mummy got us up to pee at about 3am as she couldn't sleep. We were so happy to get up and play for a while. We got tired so we all went back to bed. When we got up the next morning we were so excited. We chased each other all over the living room (I don't dare run down the hallway as it scares me). When we were tired we fell asleep on our Mummy's feet. We are so happy and our new home is so much fun as there are so many places to explore, sniff, taste and chew. Mummy and Daddy love us very much and they laugh and giggle with us all the time. So happy to be home.

I am growning so quickly...

In only a month I have grown so much. When my Mum and Dad arrived to visit me and my half-sister on Monday (10 January) I was so excited. I was in a special play area with my brothers but I wagged my tail the hardest so my Mummy knew I was hers. She picked me up right away. I tricked her twice that night. She thought she was picking up one of my brothers but again, I made a big production and wagged my tail like mad and she picked me up again. I think it's meant to be.

Going to visit the "girl's" tomorrow!

We go to visit the "girl's" tomorrow. I'm so excited. The pictures that are posted are from when they were only one week and three weeks old. Can hardly wait to see the difference. I will take photos to post.

Nameless...Help!

The two extra photos are of Ming's sister. We can't quite decide on a name we both like. My husband likes the name Tang as it is the name of the Chinese Dynasty that they know Shih-Tzu's existed. Ming is also the name of a Chinese Dynasty. Any suggestions for asian/CHINESE names would be appreciated.
