Shadow is a young gal who was going through a false pregnancy just about the time 8 orphan pups needed a nursing mom.Shadow was able to nurse the pups until they could eat on their own.Unfortunaley shadows owner also had a rooster who did not like shadow and after being pestered by this rooster one to many times shadow sent him to the rainbow bridge.This earned this wonderful little mom a threat of getting shot and a emergency trip into rescue
