It's been a while since I've logged on here, and sad things out of the way first. My 'sister' Abby, a 16 year old female standard poodle, passed away on February 28th of this year. But I know she had a good life, after all, this is where *I* chose to live :)

On new years eve, I, Abby and Tom spent the night at Barbie's house. Along with Dawg, Vincent, Hermione and Zuzu (the last three are cats). And boy did I ever get a lot to eat!!!! I had bits of lobster, shrimp ring, cream cheese/smoked salmon and lots of potatoe chips, although I had to drink a lot of water after those. Okay, so I stole them from a bag. Whaddaya expect, they were sitting at mouth level after all. Oh yeah, and Tom gave me 1/2 a beer. Boy do I like that stuff; I felt a bit funny though. Don't know how to explain it. Best of all is that I got to play with Dawg for 24 hours. I'd steal her chew toys, fluffly animals, white gorilla and 'Ucky Duck'. She'd try to take them back, but she can't guard everything. Hehe. The evening did come to a crashing halt when Tom and Barbie lit some fireworks after midnight. I barked, tucked my tail between my legs and hid for the rest of the night. But, haha, at least Dawg did too. I bet she is more afriad than me!

That's how I started off this year. I had my second birthday in March (the 10th). I'll tell ya bout my birthday party real soon.

Jazz out.

Been a while since I've updated

I've now lived with Tom, Abby (my sister, although she's a standard poodle) and Jackie since October 26, 2004. Done a lot and seen a lot in that time. I'm almost 4 times as much old as I was when I made my last update. I started to think that the snow would never go away, but it did, and then I found out that the blasted stuff keeps coming back once a year! Oh well, I can live with it I guess

What have I done since December, 2004? Here's a list;

1) In summer, 2005 I found that there was a big hole in my back yard, and it was filled with water. Sometimes Jackie or Tom (or Barbie or Dawg) go into it. Like taking a bath, I think. Once Tom took me in there. That was pretty mean of him. I hid from him for about a whole day because of that.

2) New Years Eve, 2005 (or is thst 2006....numbers confuse me)l I got to stay overnight at barbie's place with Dawg, Abby and 3 cats (Zuzu, Hermione and Vincent). Wow, what a houseful of things going on all at once. And the food? Well let me tell you; I ate lobster with garlic butter sauce, breaded shrimp and some smoked salmon ring filled with cream cheese. Yum Yum! But I ate too much. I got the lurky pretty bad (that's the name that Tom uses when I get the trots). Maybe it was because I had some ice cream? Ah well at least Abby and Jazz also got the lurky. Haha!

3) January 9, 2006. I was let out for my morning whiz and when I came back inside, Jackie discovered a dead rabbit in the back yard with it's head ripped off. No one knows, and I ain't telling. But secretly I think that Tom is rather proud of me (if it was me). After all, Abby got a robin and a rat and she wasn't even one year old!

I'll update my page more frequently now, especially since I think I'm about to start living with a C A T (and Tom thinks I can't spell).

Back in October of 2004 when Tom got me, unbeknownst to him, I had 5 large worms hiding inside of me. This was because I ate large aounts of raw fish. Actually, that was pretty much the only food I could find (I'm a rescue dog; whatever that means), living on a far northern Canadian community.

Anyway, when I went to get spayed, the vet found these worms, and had to open me up stem to stern to get rid of them all.They even did something called an ultrasound on me. So, I ended up staying in the hospital for a little bit longer then originally thought. Tom's girlfriend took this picture of me that you see here.
