Arrival Story: We found young Tulip after a long search for the perfect dog. We visited the Berkeley Animal Shelter one day and saw this little pittie with her ears back but her tail was wagging with happiness when a human looked in her eyes. When we asked about her, we found out that Tulips life had been less than perfect. She was adopted out from the shelter at a young age, and was found a couple months later tied up outside the Humane Society. Her irresponsible owner could not even wait until the shelter opened -he was too much of a coward. We decided she was the one-and that she needed owners who would understand her breed and the wonderfulness of it!
Bio: Tulip has made herself right at home. She has a nice comfy home full of toys, treats and loads of play time. Hobbies include snorting like a piggy, snuggling on the couch, belly rubs, stealing kitty toys and learning how to be a good girl. She has taken Pit Ed classes from BADRAP three obedience class at Oakland SPCA!! She is trying so hard to be good but loves to play and would love to meet a doggie friend to share play dates with...

What do you know! It took being tagged by Little Bit to prompt me to write my first diary entry!!

Okay now fur those pawsome facts about me!!
1. I like roll around in stinky stuff (preferable on the beach when mom lets me run around, then she can't catch me! Dead fish are THE best to roll in)
2. I get tucked into bed every night by my dad (blankets keep me warm and toasty).
3. I know how to swim! And even go out into the Bay waters to doggie paddle around.
4. I love beer! (Don't worry- Mom never lets me have any-she says its bad for me) But whenever they are not looking I stick my tongue in the beer bottle!
5. I love sunbathing, but require sunscreen since I am white and I burn REAL fast.
6. I snort like a piggy.
7. I just turned 3 years old, but people still ask my parents if I am a puppy-ha! I don't look a day over 6 months!
