Arrival Story:
Jasper and I were walking in the park one morning when we saw this dog off in the distance dodging cars in the street. We went to try to help her and she ran into the brush. We caught up to her and Jasper ran up to her wanting to play but she was so scared she could hardly move. I could see that she had just had puppies, she was terribly skinny, banged up and filthy, so I hooked her up to Jasper's leash and took her home. We're pretty sure she has been abused and was not taken care of at all as she had large gashes on her legs, A collar that was so tight we could barely get it off her and once we did she was able to breath normally. After a few baths and a little love and care we could see she was a great dog. We love having her as part of our family.

Bio:
Ruby is a super dog. She has very bad seperation anxiety and a great fear of being crated as we found out when she broke out of a metal crate by bending the bars back with her mouth. She roams the house freely while we're out now and seems much happier though gets a bit destructive when left too long. She's the sweetest, cutest, intelligent, most mellow dog in the house but watch out when she's outside. She'll match any challenge (large or small) and is a champion wrestler. She plays well with most other dogs but is still learning to socialize as it was pretty obvious she'd never had doggy friends before coming to live with us. She is one great pooch!
