Arrival Story:
We got Jakey Boy from a local dane breeder when he was just a few weeks old. We've come to call him "Mr. Aloof" as he doesn't like a whole lot of fuss made over him. I can't resist hugging and kissing him and he acts like it's KILLING him. He has a brother named Harry, a dane/lab mix, and a sister Lucy, a purebred mantle dane. He enjoys playing "Clash of the Titans" with his sister. He also enjoys napping on the couch.

Hey, check out my pup pals - my brother Charles is on there!!!!! Isn't he handsome?

Mr. Bean....what a piece of work he is!

We got Jake through a local breeder ( who produces absolutely BEAUTIFUL pups - and you've never seen anyone love their dogs like Dee!!!!

We went with the intention of purchasing a beautiful brindle girl named Rose and when we got there, Jakey just stole our hearts! We already had a brindle dane/lab mix pound puppy and thought he might like a brother. Enter Jakey Shake 'n Bakey. He's just a peach - quite aloof, however. Doesn't like to be loved on too much - like he's above it all. Too bad, I still kiss on him and he just has to TOLERATE it.

Funny story #1 - we let Jakey out in our fenced back yard. Well, Jake saw a beautiful white tail deer and decided it would be fun to go play with her. The only thing I caught was both of them, running side by side and it was very difficult to tell the difference!!!! I must've looked ridiculous running like a nut after Jake and this deer into the woods....

Stay tuned - there's always a new story with Mr. Bean.....
