Playing with Fritz and Beau! He also likes having his belly rubbed, cuddlig for naps, lounging around in bed well after he's woken up, sunning himself on the deck, and cleaning your ear with his tongue.

Pet-Peeves:
Being touched by the vet, getting his toenails cut, people who walk by his house, and being locked out of the room while I'm changing my sheets. In that order.

Favorite Toy:
Presently, his cloth frisbee.

Favorite Food:
Unfortunately, Chicory has a strong chewing instinct and likes to eat things that he really shouldn't. Recent indulgences have included plumber's putty, many telephone headsets, and at least one cellphone. Bad dog!

Favorite Walk:
He LOVES to fetch his frisbee! (see photo.) It's not really a walk but...oh well. He also really enjoys small dog play group.

Best Tricks:
Having me wrapped around his little black paw.

Arrival Story:
Chicory filled the void of a beloved Boston Terrier who passed away almost three years ago. Another dog in the household, a mini Schnauzer, grew ill and passed on a few weeks after Chicory arrived. The Schnauzer had time to teach Chicory many useful things like what the yard is for, good car manners, and the best places to take a nap.

Bio:
Chicory is sweet and friendly. When he first arrived as an awkward puppy, I am ashamed to admit that I thought he looked like some type of alien fetus. He has grown into a fine looking flat faced mixed breed. And, yes, he always has that intent look on his face!
