Sadly, I report that Shadow passed away comfortably surrounded by myself, his long-time owner and friend, and two veterinarians. Shadow died on October 29, 2009 of old age and bladder cancer. He lived a long, happy life despite being diagnosed with hypothyroidism and subsequently developing a rectal fistula. And just a few months ago, he was diagnosed with bladder cancer.
Shadow was a proud and dignified dog to the end. I am truly saddened at it loss and I truly miss him.
Rest in peace, my friend. Enjoy your time in Summerland. I hope to join you some day so that we can share fun times together again.
