Arrival Story:
Finn was brought into the vet hospital as a pup with his littermates for a puppy check, was flund to have a significant heart murmur and the breeder was going to have him put down. The vet's heart wasn't quite there, and one thing led to another and he ended up signed over to the clinic, and ended up with an employee's mother, who does placement and rescue, as well as grooming, daycare, etc. She began to talk to my husband about him, then I met him, and we agreed to take him. He still has a pretty good heart murmur, but it doesn't really seem to get in his way and we don't tell him he has it anyway, He is a very good dog and an excellent companion. It wouldhave been a real waste to not allow him to live . Such a sweet personality (other then when he fights with Charlie).

Bio:
He has a niece who is with the lady we got him from, and she also has a heart murmur, worse then Finn's . The breeder neutered Finn's parents, but bred his sister,(!!) she did not have a murmur, hence Finn's neice having a really bad murmur. She may end up on medication soon.

Finn:
Finn loves to ride on the scooter or 4-wheeler with my hsuband up north , and loves to run over to the neighbors and jump off their dock and swim. He was really good when my mom was here for 2 weeks after a hip replacement. He was really careful when he's get up on her foot rest. He knew something was different.
