Bubba was found wandering in the streets on Fort Devens, Ma, on the last weekend of August 2009, lucky for him the nice couple who found him brought him to the fire station, and the nice man there knew my Foster Mom, and that she was a dachshaholic. He called her up and told her all about my handsome coolness, and she came right over to pick me up where I was hanging with the ladies in the DPW office (getting all kinds of goods to eat!). Foster Mom brought me right to the vet, because I was in pretty poor shape, my nails were so long, the dew claw nail was under my foot when I walked, and it made me sound like Fred Astair when I tapped my way into the vet's lobby. I got checked for a microchip, sadly, none...my nails were cut (I Did NOT like that) and my anal glands were full and sore...I had a double ear infection... also they told FM that I was the poster dog for Hypothyroid.. :( FM posted a news paper ad, a craigslist ad and a petfinder found dog ad a week ago, with no response. The vet told FM that after 10 days, I am hers to do with as she will...and FM said, that will be easy, Neuter *GASP! NO!* treat the Hypothyroid and find a PAWSOME furever home.... As much as I like my FM, the Weenigos are quite a bunch for me to adjust to after so long on my own.

Bio:
Despite plans to be neutered, Bubba should go to a home where he is either the only dog, or where he has a gentle female dog companion, he is quite dominant and has tried to pick fights with all the males in the house. He is ok with older children that know how to be gentle and hold him securely without hurting him.
