Sleeping, Sleeping, and ummm Sleeping! He is also the most snoozy and snuggly dog I have ever met. Quite the lover-boy! He does like to swim too, and stare at kitties of course!

Pet-Peeves:
When Mama says "NoNO!" to him staring and whining at the kitties. When he has to get up from sleeping! And when his cousin, Macy, eats his dinner before he has a chance. He is a SLOW eater. Especially if Mama is NOT in the room!

Arrival Story:
I first met Zephyr when I visiting an animal shelter in La Grange, GA. I was there with my boyfriend at the time, who was looking for a dog. The shelter was in a dismal state, and I felt gloomier and gloomier as I slowly gazed into each overcrowded kennel. Then I saw Zephyr! He was so friendly, wiggly, and I felt an immediate bond. Most likely because of my fondness for Border Collies. He sat for me, and layed down. He raised his paw when I asked him to shake. I convinced my boyfriend that this was THE dog for us. We asked to take him to a dog run outside and soon found out he was supposed to be "un-adoptable" for reasons of biting a child. We convinced the people in charge this had no bearing on our desire for him, and we were able to spend some time frolicking with him in the yard. We played cautiously but saw ZERO sign of aggression. They allowed us to take him home after signing a waiver acknowledging we were informed of his biting. Unfortunately, after my ex-boyfriend moved out here to CA, he got homesick and went back. He left Zephyr with me, and here is to this day. I'd rather have the dog anyhow! ;) He's still a good ol' , homegrown, Southern boy though! And I love him!!!!
