Nikita was a Christmas present for me in 1986, he was my first Siberian Husky and the love of my life. He was born on Halloween, he was always a treat never a trick. It's because of the love I had and still have for my Niki that I got into Siberian Husky Rescue. My beloved Nikita crossed the Rainbow Bridge on 12/29/2000 at the age of 14. He was one in a million and I know how lucky I was to have him in my life for 14 years. I love and miss you Dahling. There is another star in the sky and it has Nikita's name on it.

Bio:
Nikita lived in Philadelphia Pa for 14 years 8 of those years with his brother Casey a Collie mix (at the bridge) and his brother Sindari (at the bridge) the Greatest of Great Pyrenees.

This entry is more for my benefit than anything else. I just wanted to let Nikita know that I love him and miss him more than anything and I think about him every single day. The day you left me Niki I thought I was going to die, I didn't want to live life without you, I didn't think I could. I had to remind myself that I have so much love to give and there are many dogs that need that love, that is what has helped me carry on. In your memory Niki I have fostered homeless dogs and kittens and they have all gone to great loving homes. The love you gave me is worth all the grief I went through the days/months/years after you crossed the bridge. Yes, my dahling, I'm still grieving for you. You will always be here Niki, you live on in my heart and my soul and the lives of the dogs that have found forever homes because of you. I LOVE YOU NIKITA
