Arrival Story:
We adopted Sophie from our local shelter when she was 11 months old (about 1 month ago). She was surrendered to the shelter twice, the first time was because her person was not a responsible owner, the second one because Sophie jumps when she greets you (hello, training??). She is so sweet it's hard to believe anyone would turn their back on her.
Bio:
Little is known of Sophie's first 11 months. We only had her one month but she is a absolute joy. She looks like a beagle but the vet says he can see the pug in her (lower jaw and shorter snout, other than that, she's beagle). She's playful, friendly with other dogs (big and small), people and children, enjoys playing with us or will amuse herself (anything and everything is a toy to our Sophie). She still jumps when I come home but she is getting better - the ignore method has worked best so far.
