Nicknames:
Floydie, Fjord, Mister, Floyd Boyd Webster

Quick Bio:
-pound dog-dog rescue

Likes:
Attention from my daddy! I love mommy and sleep practically on top of her every night, but, she's not DADDY!!!

Pet-Peeves:
Loud noises, other dogs having too much fun and being rambunctious, not being allowed on the couch, having his picture taken

Favorite Toy:
He's too sophisticated for toys

Favorite Food:
Kitty roca and cat food. He once ate a very large amount of cat food straight out of the bag and scared mommy to death. His stomach was soooo huge. An x-ray showed that all his organs were displaced from his stomach being so distended.

Favorite Walk:
He loves his training group! He is in training to be a certified therapy dog!

Best Tricks:
Sitting and staying for treats. Looking very sad all the time to get sympathy and attention.

Arrival Story:
We went to the humane society and my husband saw Mr. Floyd crouched in a corner of his cage scared and freaked out. We took him home the next day. Those eyes of his!

Bio:
He has come a long way with his fears and phobias. He still hates loud noises though. We believe that he was neglected and are pretty sure that he had never been an indoor dog before. He must have been purchased as a hunting dog and then was somehow traumatized by that. They were pretty vague about his history at the shelter.

My daddy and I just passed our Canine Good Citizen test and I'm now a certified therapy dog!!! I can't believe how far I've come since momma and daddy adopted me! I used to be afraid of everyone and everything and would never come near strangers. Now after 3 years I let strange people come up to me and pet me and grab my feet and tail! I still don't know if I'm completely comfortable with it but I know I'll get more used to it the more I visit people! My mom and daddy couldn't be prouder! They say I am the the best, most handsome boy in the whole world!!! I am closer every day to forgetting my life before this one although loud noises still make me jump high!

Well, I woke up this morning and mommy and daddy fed us and rushed us out the door into the icy yard. Since they are going to work this morning without me, that means that my bratty foster sister M.E. is going to bug me all day. I love her but she is very rambunctious with me and I am too nice and gentlemanly to get mad at her. I hope mom and dad come home soon. I hate having all this responsibility on me. Gosh, it's hard to be the no-fun doggy police.
