Arrival Story:
I was looking for a kid friendly dog. I had a 2 yr old and another baby on the way at the time. I called a collie breeder that was a show breeder and asked her how collies were with kids...she asked me if I'd be interested in an older female...I said YES that's EXACTLY what I am looking for...I went to her and met Brittany, she gave her to me that day and I am so thankful for her!

Bio:
Brittany is a true "Lassie" dog in every sense of the word....her job in life is to look after the kids. At our old house..my grooming shop was located in a detached garage a couple hundred feet away from the house. My son who was 2 at the time was napping so I went out in the shop to work...I had the baby monitor on. Brittany was out in the yard. Well I was all involved grooming had dryers going and it was so noisy I couldn't hear the baby monitor....here she comes to the windows of the shop, jumping up on them and barking like crazy....I turned off the noise and sure enough the baby monitor was going off and my son had woke up and was crying. She had come to get me! If she hears any baby cry..she is on it...she will stand by them no matter what...she takes any sort of "baby" type abuse from children, hair pulling etc...she loves kids period! That is her job in life, to watch the kids and that is what she does best.
