Arrival Story:
At the shelter where I volunteer, Remy came in, found tied to a tree in the woods, pregnant, heartworm and Lyme positive. I agreed to foster her until the puppies were born and weaned. She had 8 puppies in my kitchen and after all that, I adopted her. She shows signs of abuse, is still very skittish, and is afraid of everything and everyone. It has taken her 3 years to finally feel a little comfortable with us. She will now come out of her crate and sit up on the couch with us at night to watch TV. She is much more brave outside and goes on long walks with the whole pack. She is a great dog and someone threw her away.....little did they know she is so wonderful!!!!!!
