Arrival Story:
I first saw sweet Lily on "PetFinder" when she was just a little 9 week old puppy. Two of my friends separately mentioned that they noticed a puppy looking a lot like my beloved dog T.D., but I didn't think that T. D. would enjoy a puppy in the house. I didn't know it would only be days before I would lose T.D., and I remember sitting at the computer, crying, and looking at the listing of adoptable dogs at the local Woodford Humane Society ... there she was, the little black and white puppy my friends had talked about. It was on a Sunday, I went to see her as soon as they opened, and there was no question I would take that baby home ..... Maybe some questioned the wisdom of adopting her so quickly after losing my girl, but I always knew that I would think of them as separate individuals, it was not about replacing what I lost with a look-alike.
