Hi everyone! It’s me, Max. I have had a very busy week, beginning with going to the vet and getting all of my vaccinations- I was such a good boy and I didn’t even cry a single tear. They also tested me for heartworms and I was negative! Hooray! And I weighed 62 pounds. I went to Bark in the Park and an adopt-a-thon where I met more nice people and I know they all thought I was some kind of cute! I behaved very well on the leash, no pulling or tugging and was great in crowds, small gatherings, lots of dogs and even puppies. I am quite a charmer too!! My new favorite things to do are to go on car rides, letting my head hang out the window and drink out the toilet (shh…don’t tell anyone!). I am learning new sounds that I find quite interesting, including airplanes, hair dryers, telephones, and lawn mowers- they don’t scare me; I’m just curious about them. I love snuggling up to my foster parents and getting my ears rubbed. I like “puppy massages” too. My foster mommy bought me my very own bed yesterday, and boy, did I sleep like a king! I really love living here, but really and truly want to find a forever home.
