Crate Training UPDATE

Owen has taken to crate training so easily! We haven't had a SINGLE accident since we began, and he goes into his crate on his own when he's tired! I'm so proud!!

Crate train-able?

I've had to start crate training Owen, the other two are AWESOME at being paper trained, but it just wasn't computing with him (I think he's stubborn :P) and Pablo started being convinced HE could poop or pee anywhere as well, so it had to stop.

Last night was our first night, he took to the crate with little-to-no complaint (a complete 360!) and this morning I took him outside and he peed for a minute and a half! But he did it outside, he held it! I'm so proud of him, and hopefully this is step 1. To being potty trained.

Life with Owen

Owen settled in very easily to his new life. We had to take him to the vets a few days after arriving as he had double ear infections, which have cleared up now. He still has a few accidents everywhere, but he's slowly learning. He enjoys going outside with the other dogs, but struggles to keep up with them! So far he's been clipped three times completely, with regular face trimming.

1st day.

Owen settled in pretty quick to life at our house, today we lopped off his hair so he can actually see. He slept with Holly and me last night, until real dog stairs come I've ghetto-rigged some out of boxes and storage containers, he is fine getting up, he just can't seem to get down again!
