Here comes the cold!

So I got my hair cut awhile back! :) It was nice to have it all gone, because this was a HOT period. But the cold period is coming up; I can feel it in the air!! Maybe the soft ice will fall from the sky again this period! I love soft ice! It makes the earth look soft. :) It's REALLY cold, though, but I don't mind. I'm glad my hair seems to be growing back for the cold period.

I don't think Khloe has ever seen a cold period. I wonder how she'll react to soft ice. Heh heh....

And I think we're making a trip to the park soon! I hope so! I really missed it, but mama says it's been too hot to go. :( Mama also said she's going to get a new rolling house soon! She says ALL the windows will work so I can stick my head out as much as I want!! :D I'm so excited! I wonder what kind of rolling house she'll get!!

Can't wait for the cold period! :)

So somehow I ended up with a little sister. I didn't sign up for this!!!

Bark Park!

Mama found a new park to take me to! She said she wishes she had known the park was there earlier! It's so much fun, and I make a lot of new friends there. But we only go every couple of weeks or so because it's so far away. Mama says I'm worth it though! It's hard for me to keep up with some of those younger pups though. Not to mention yesterday, we had ALREADY gone for a walk before going to the park, so I was tired already when we got to the park! We didn't stay long yesterday, but that's cool because I was getting hot! Mama said she wants to get my hair cut, but I don't like people touching my tail! She said she's scared I might nip someone trying to cut my hair or I might get scared of all the equipment they use. And you know, I just might! I think she might keep trying to find someone who will give me a hair cut that I behave well with, but that's not her to decide is it? :P Anyway, I'm off for now! Bye pups!

Christmas Parade!

Mama took me to the Christmas Parade a few days ago. That was loads of fun! Mama let me have some of the candy that the people were throwing out at us, but she kept giving this little human boy standing next to her candy too! She told me she was giving him the candy that wasn't good for me to eat, so I understoood, sort of.

During the parade, someone threw a stuffed teddy bear holding the letter "D" at us. Mama's boyfriend's mom (I get to call her grandma sometimes) caught it and wanted to give it to her human baby grandson, but because a different bear was thrown at us later on, the human baby's mom gave Mama the bear with the "D". She said my name starts with a "D" when she writes it in human speak, so she was very happy to have it!

My favorite part of the parade were those old human males on those little cars. Mama called them "Shriners"(?). I wanted to chase them so bad!! Then the horses came out. I got aggravated because they were scattered everywhere and not traveling together. That aggravates me for some reason! Mama says it's the border collie (?) in me. Funny how when I visit Angel, Mama calls it, "OCD". No idea what that means.

Anyway, me and mama have a birthday coming up. Our birthday is in the human month of February (?). Mama says she will be 24 years old, and that I would be 24 too, if I were a human. Mama says she feels old and that 24 years is a long time, but I don't feel old at all. I certainly don't remember being alive for 24 years, however long that is.

Mama is so excited about the holidays coming up. She's also excited because we both have a birthday coming up! :) She's been doing a whole lot better since my last diary entry. She's found a new "boy-friend"(?) and has started another program in school. She's been away a lot, but she's coming home soon! :) I can't wait!!

Everything is different now...

It seems like Mama is going through changes. I don't go to friends' houses much anymore, and I don't see Daddy very often... I think maybe my parents split up. :( But mommy seems to be in a much better mood a lot more often. She told me she promises to take me out more after this "kwarter" is over. I think that has something to do with where she goes when she's gone for a long time during the day.

A couple of weeks ago, there was snow on the ground! I've heard of snow before, but I don't remember ever playing in it! Mama let me play in it for awhile, even though she told me to be careful because I just had surgery and couldn't get my stitches wet. It was a lot of fun! Except for that snowman in MY yard. I showed him a thing or two!

I'm not sure what surgery I had, but it wasn't very fun for the first couple of days! I was so itchy! Mama made sure I was as comfortable as I could be though. I feel a lot more relaxed too. I'm sure whatever was done, there was a good reason for it, and me and Mama both seem to be more at ease now. Hmm..

O Christmas Tree?

Earlier this morning, Mommy, Daddy, Aunt Marie, Uncle Josh, me, and the rest of the pack were watching a movie that Mommy calls "A Barbie Christmas Carol". Mommy mentioned something about a Christmas tree before, and how it wouldn't fit in the house. Then I saw what a Christmas tree looks like in the movie! There were lots of small Christmas trees in the yard! I'm not sure what Mommy was thinking when she said a Christmas tree wouldn't fit in the house.. I was pretty sure those would! So I ran outside to get one off the ground that Daddy had dug up the day before. It was missing a few arms, but I'm sure it was the same kind of tree! I brought it back inside the house and gave it to Mommy. She and Daddy laughed a lot. I'm not sure what was so funny, but Mommy said I did a good job picking out a tree. :)

New friends, new accessories, and new tricks!

Mommy has been taking me to other places where there are lots of others like me to play with. I've been having lots of fun with them! There's lots of room to run around and play for hours!

Mommy also bought me a new necklace. She said the old one made it hard for her to see me at night, so she got me one that lights up real bright when a light is shone on it.

She bought me these new little yummies that taste awesome, too! Mommy taught me how to "sit" and "down" with them. Hey, for those treats I would learn anything! She said she was proud of me for being such a quick learner. :)

Anyway, I hope to go back to my friends' houses soon! I think mommy likes going over there too. :D

New stuff! :D

Yesterday, I got a new house! It's a lot bigger than the other one. Mommy calls it a "deluxe dogloo". I'm not sure what that means, but it's nice. She also put a new toy in my house! It was nice and soft and I lied on it for a little while. It was more fun to play with though! But grandma took it away from me when she saw I tore all the insides out. Mommy wasn't so happy about that either. I guess tearing things up is bad. :(

After me and mommy had our loooong walk, and I woke up later, she came outside to play with me. I heard her tell gramma that she wanted her to take..pik--chers... of us together. I wasn't really sure what mommy wanted me to do... but I guess I was doing okay because she was laughing a lot. Then we played "keep away" for awhile. I love that game! :) Mommy is a lot of fun. I think I wore her out. :) I guess what goes around, comes around! ;D
