Lightning is off to the Bridge

Our dear pup friend, Lightning, was put to rest today.
We will miss her very much. She had cancer, that moved very quickly through her body.
She is playing at the Bridge now, with all the pups that were waiting for her there.

WE MISS THUNDER

Thunder died today at 2:00.
She is Napoleons good friend, that lived downstairs from him,
with Uncle Dave. She is in the picture of Napoleon in the yard with her,
they are touching noses.
We told Uncle Dave to make her a memorial page here on Dogster.
And, we told him about the Rainbow Bridge.

My Cousin, Creepy little EEK, came to MY BIRTHDAY PARTY

I had my 2nd Birthday, and it lasted a whole week.
My birthday was March 1st, I was 2 years old.
Dogster send me Birthday wishes,
and all my friends on Dogster sent me bones, songs, birthday wishes, and I even got a couple of Rosettes.
Mom sent me to the Groomer, and I was a good boy there. The Grooming lady said I did not even turn my head.
Mom was happy, I came home nice and clean, and trimmed.
They even shaved my butt for my birthday.
They gave me a cool scarf, and I had on cologne.
Dad opened the windows in the car, he said I stunk!
Dad was being a creep.
Oh yeah,
Creepy cousin Eke came to my party, he ate cake, and he farted in my house.
He made everyone gag. That silly little chihuahua has to learn some manners.
Then he was barking at ME! Can you imagine, its my special day, and he barks at ME!
I love my birthday, maybe we can have another one next week.

Cousin ZEKE, the EEKY little Creep

New cousin Zeke has suddenly appeared at Auntie Maurines house.
He is like a creepy little wind up toy,
that chases me in circles. He is called Chihuahua.
He sits on Moms lap, and kisses her ear, and he totally creeps me out.
She says he is cute. She has lost her mind.
I gave him a little growl, and boy, did he run.
I saw her trying to play with creepy Zekey, without me seeing her,
but I know all about it.
Auntie Maurine is fooled by his "cuteness", but he is not as cute as
I am.
They tell me all the time that "I am the most beautiful boy in the world".
And as long as they all remember that, I will put up with creepy little Zekey.
Lets just keep him away from Dogster.

The Wedding- what will she put on me now?

Daddy's friend Adam has invited me to his wedding.
At least I can go to this one.
Cousin Randy invited me to his wedding, but, it is in the Florida Keys,
and mom won't put me on the plane, because they would put me in a terrible place, with noise, and heat, and she says the plane people can lose me.

But Adams wedding is in Pennsylvania, so we can drive there.
I know I will have fun at Adam's wedding, playing with Kimbo, and Bullet. Kimbo wears a yellow bandana, so no one mistakes her for a bear. She is big and black, mom says she is a Newfoundland.
My only worry is what she going to make me wear.
I saw her looking at Tuxedo's, and chiffon neckwear, even those crazy flowered shirts. Usually when she brings me to a party, i just have to wear the stupid flowers around my neck, or a bandana, that is bad enough! I would love to chew up those stupid flowers, like I do to the bandanas.
Weddings must be a little different than the birthday parties she brings me to.
I heard dad talking about the new denim jacket mom bought for me. He thought I was going to wear this to the wedding. She said something about having my name embroidered on it, and dad was saying not to do that, until he bought me some Harley patches for my jacket.
Mom was yelling something to dad about NOT cutting the sleeves off.
With all this talk going on around the house, I think i will stay under the couch, where she can't reach me. But, she tricks me out, says we are going for a walk, and I love my walks, so she gets me to come out, but I am always ready to run back under there, if I see anything funny going on...
Why don't they see that I am the most beautiful boy in the world, without all that stuff?

Days Down the Shore

They piled into a car, and took me down the shore.
This must have been to make up for the horrible vet trip a few weeks ago, when they knocked me out, and I woke up hurting, and had a lampshade on my head.
Down the shore, the took me to the "BEACH", Yay! A giant back yard, full of sand, just for me to dig in. I even got to pee, on the WOODWALK.
I was laughing running to the BEACH, just thinking about all the fun I was going to have. There were so many things for me to smell, and play with.
There were a couple other dogs there. I snapped at the big one, that came running up to me. I was running away from the waves, they were cold, when they touched my toes....
They brought me back home today, but they talked to the lady at the motel, and told her, they will bring me back soon.
When I got home, I slept all day, must have been the benadryl the vet told them to give me, for the car ride down, because I get sick in the car.

Tushee Wipes

Oh no they don't.
Now they have tushee wipes.
Its Jinnee's fault for telling mom that i was a dingle berry puppy.
Pointing out that i had a dingle berry.
Off they ran to Petco, and they come back with tushee wipes.
They are always looking to wipe something.
Last week it was the eye wipes, now they want to wipe my butt.
I feel a bath coming on.
At least the couch is here for me to hide under.
Everytime she walks into the room, i hide under the couch.
Its just not safe here.

My 1st Birthday!

My 1st Birthday came, and everyone came over for cake. They brought me all kinds of gifts, and cards. That stupid hat had to go though....no way was I going to be wearing that all night. Everytime SHE put it on my head, off it came. SHE finally gave up. I only ate the icing on my cake, and left the rest.
We tried to give the rest of my cake to our guests, but I guess they were just too full to eat any more. If there wasn't so much snow out in the yard, we could have had a bigger party. I really loved this Birthday stuff, maybe they can give me another party in the Spring.

Still Recovering from my 1st New Year Party!

My 1st New Year Party was with Auntie Maurine. I'm still wondering if she found the doggie diamonds MOM lost in her front yard in the dark.
I am not fully recovered.
Sleeping all day, and playing hard at night with Mishka (one of my cats)...seems to be my new schedule. I did go play in the yard a few times today, but took plenty of naps in between. I started some new holes in the front of the house, and my paws are plenty muddy now! She will probably give me another BATH, but i will hide under the couch, and never come out.
When i see her coming, i am outta here. With any luck, SHE will have no time until next weekend.
