Arrival Story: Me becoming Lillys mom was 100% fate!!
I had always loved Boston Terriers and had longed for one of my own. I had dogs growing up, but as an adult, out on my own, I had always had cats. I never really wanted a dog....Then my fateful day arived....
I was in a store in the check out line when the cashier had mentioned she just had 2 week old puppies. I asked what breed they were and she had said Boston Terriers.....I was EXCITED!! I asked how much she was charging for the puppies and if I could come meet them and the parents. She agreed. I went the next day and saw the 5 beautiful Boston puppies....I picked out a female, who looked identical to her mom. I told the lady I wanted this puppy. They were asking $350 for her. I agreed to the price.....During the next few weeks as my puppy was growing and weening off her mother, I would call and check on "my puppy"....I would go see her to interact with her....I just could not wait to get her home.
Then things happened.....We had some unexpected financial problems surface....I was not going to be able to afford my puppy and everyday, I realized this more. I was due to pick up the puppy in one week and I reluctantly called the owner and told her that I would be unable to buy the puppy from her. I was heartbroken, and very sad.
About 5 days later, the owner called me and said she had decided I could have the puppy for free. I had already bonded with the puppy and she kenw I would provide a great home for her.....I WAS EXTATIC!!! I WAS GETTING MY BOSTON......I drove out there to see my new puppy yet again. I held her and played with her...I had decided to name her Lilly. She was just a wonderful puppy....energetic, friendly and happy. She was so tiny she fit in my hand....I made a promise to Lilly, that I would always do whatever it took to care for her.....
We had all the initial vet visits, shots, de worming, spaying, etc etc....She has grown into a healthy and happy dog. I love her as much as a mother could love her child....since I have no human children, Lilly is my child. She has been with me through good times and bad and there have been times that I dont know what would have happened if I didn't have her....She truely is my baby!!
Today, Lilly is 4.5 years old.....and my very best friend.

Bio: Lilly is an intresting Boston as she still has her tail....
