Around the block.. i especially like it when Mommy carries me back home! bol

Covering myself with a blanket. I can nap anytime, anywhere!
Arrival Story:
Mama Rosie, the director of Love For Paws Rescue, was driving down the road during a thunderstorm & saw two possums tumbling around at the bottom of a low-water crossing.. Turns out it was actually a possum carcass & a furless, flea-bitten Chihuahua (moi) caught underneath! I was really trying to get away from that nasty thing but i got swept up with it by the flooding water. Actually, the possum probably saved my life 'cause i'm a terrible swimmer!Anyway, as a regular volunteer with the rescue, Mommy tried to foster me in her home with the rest of her pack.. but my "sad eyes" are hard to resist! Gets 'em everytime! In fact, it was at an adoption event that Mommy decided she couldn't bare to let go of her "little mocha munchkin". Boy am i happy to have a furever fam! Since being rescued, my beautiful, mocha-colored fur has slowly grown back.. and so has my confidence!
Bio:
Once, when Mommy put me out for my last potty break of the night, i dug under the fence and escaped from our backyard. I was lost for one night! Mommy said she never stopped searching for me, "It was the most helpless, terrible feeling knowing my baby was out there but I couldn't find her!" Turns out someone knew i was loved & missed & took me in about 20 minutes after i took off that night. Needless to say, i never leave Mommy's sight!
