Arrival Story:
Mom and dad were starting to look around for a little brother or sister for Dolly, who still just wasn't herself after losing Maggie. They weren't sure what they were looking for ... just that they'd know it when they found it. Our next door neighbor told them that her daughter's neighbor had just taken in a rescued beagle and recently found out the she was pregnant with puppies! :-O She was a tricolor who had been bred with a lemon drop before the previous owners decided they didn't want the trouble of a litter of puppies. How rude! On July 29th, 2009 our furmom had 8 of us. Mom and dad saw us for the first time when we were two days old and just fell in love. They said they would be back to pick one of us in two weeks when our eyes were open. Two weeks later, there they were ... only they couldn't decide between a tri-color and a lemon drop OR a boy and a girl, so they just got one of each!
