I was just leaving the City Animal Shelter, disappointed that they didn't have any small dogs for adoption. As I was getting in my car, a couple was just getting out of their car, with Jack on a lead. They were discussing how sad they were that they could no longer take care of Jack.
I asked if they would consider letting me take Jack for the weekend, to see if he might work out with our family. They agreed and Jack went with us to spend a weekend on the boat.
Jack had a great time and we all fell in love with him. Jack has been with us for 2 weeks now and we are thrilled to have him!
