Arrival Story:
On Sunday, January 4, 2009, we decided to go to the local SPCA after church to "look at puppies". Just looking. That's it. Much to our surprise, a truckload of dogs and puppies had been brought in from Tennessee the day before as rescues. We had the privilege to hold Coco and her sister, Nina. They were very tiny, approx. 5 lbs and approx. 8 weeks old. They were the last two puppies ready to be adopted. As I held Coco, my husband held Nina and we instantly fell in love with both of them! I said to my husband "what are we going to do"? "How do we pick just one"? And, because I married the greatest man in the world, he replied "we will adopt both"!!! Yippee!!!!!
