Arrival Story:
We adopted Belle from the Perry County Humane Shelter. When our little Teddy Bear passed away suddenly we were so lost and the pain was so bad that we felt we had alot more love to give. So we went to the humane shelter to look an see what was available. We wanted a Yorkie mix like our Teddy but the Yorkies there didn't really want anything to do with us but the girl there said if I was intrested in alittle older dog they had one that was so sweet and she was right. When she let Bella out of the cage she ran straight to my husband an tried to climb up his leg. So you could say she picked us there was no way I could not take her for however long she has left they will be the most loved years of her life. Nothing will ever be able to replace the loss of our little love Teddy but hopefully Bella will help soften some of the hurt and give our precious Luke the perfect little companion.
Bio:
I looked at all the caged animals in the shelter; the cast -offs of human society. I saw in their eyes love and hope, fear and dread, sadness and betrayal. And I was angry; "God", I said,, "this is terrible! Why don't you do something?" God was silent for a moment and then he spoke softly, " I have done something," he replied, " I created you."
