My friend Yoshi

went to the bridge last night. I was there to greet her.
She was almost 17yrs. Her dogster ID is 102162 if anyone would like to send their sympathy. She didn't have lots of friends. Her family will really miss her. But she is with me and all the dogster Angels...

It is with great sadness

that Sandra passed away at 8:47 PM. She went very peacful. I had to take her to the ER after hours and I held her close and told her it was ok. She went so peacful. she was ready.

She was a wonderful girl and and our family will miss her soo much. It never gets easy no matter how mamy pets you have.

Once again thank you all for the paw prayes and support. It was just her time. We had 14 great years with her and she will be in our hearts furever...

Sandra Marie your family Loves you and your spirt will always be with us. We look forward to the day that we all meet at the Rainbow Bridge...I love you.

Update

I don't know if Sandra is going to make it thru the nite. Her Vet was off today, but her office called her and she told us to try and hang on until morning. Since I posted this morning, Sandra tried to go outside then collasped. It was very frightening then she sorta came back.

She was so dehydratd and weak she could not stand. I kept givng her fluids and I read that you can give a dog Pedilyte so I have been trying that. Then late afternoon she wanted to go out I helped her then she had a seizure and I thought she had died, but again she came thru. She started to throw up again..and now she is just resting, her breathing is shallow and she looks unresponsive.

If she makes it thru the nite, she will see her vet at 8:00AM. Our vet said sometimes they get what is called a Genatric episode and after 24 hrs they are ok. We ae praying that she either goes peacefully or will make it and come back. She was doing so much better these last few days we were really hopeful.

I want to thank everyone for all the support. It never get easy. I have been by her side all day. I love her so much.

I will post in the morning and hopefully she will get thru the nite..

I've taken a turn for the worse

I was doing good then last night I started throwing up all over..and this morning I am so weak that I almost fell. My vet is not there today so we are going ASAP in the morning

Mom is giving me lots of fluids and she went to a holestic pet shop and they gave her some frozen duck to try and give me..

We know that I don't have too much longer...mom is praying that by some miracle I will get better. Mom will post if any changes...Please pray for me.

We went to the vet

I lost 2 more lbs and now weigh only 24.2lbs. Dr said I looked better but was concerend with the weight loss. I got another 2 week anibiotic shot and my medcam to take daily it's a anti iinflamatory medication . Dr said that she could still hear my heart murmur but my eyes and gums looked good. She told mom that we will do xrays in 2 weeks to see if the mass has grown but that when she touched my back I didn't cry so she was happy with that.

She said if anything changes then come in ASAP. We really like Dr Domotor. She has been my vet since I was a puppy, mom and I feel real comfotable with her and know that she will do everythng she can for us.

I'm going to lay down now it's exhausting going to the vet. Thank you everyone for all the well wishes and Rosettas. We really appreciate it.

It doesn't look good..

mom is really worried cause now I just want to go out in the yard in what mom calls my "Cave" it's where mom said when animals out in the wild that are sick just go off and die.

Mom doesn't let me stay there she puts me back in the house. I am having a little hard time with my breathing and mom is hoping that the mass isn't pushing against my heart. We see Dr D friday at 8:00Am

I have been eating a little and mom is giving me my supplements to keep up my strength.

It's hard for me to get on the bed and when I walk Iam slow, mom gave me some pain medication this morning to see if it helps me.

I want to thank everyone again for all the Powere of the Paws, crosses and most of all the paw prayers. We know that I am old but mom still believes in miracles.

We will update on friday after I go and get my xrays.

Mom said ...

I look better...she got me some tube stuff from Petsmart that is high in calories and has been giving me some in a syring. It made me want to eat and mom was real happy that I art 2 pouches of Nutro Ultra Holestic food. I also ate some cookies

I feel all the Paw prayers from everyone even pups that I don't know. We want to thank everyone again for keeping me in their prayers and thoughts.

It rained here and the cold hurts my spine, so mom gave me some pain medication again..but not as much. She has me all bundle up with my flannel jacket . We hope we will have the sun today so I can go lay on the patio.

THank you everyone

for all the paw prayers...Mom is really worried cause I am losing so much weight. She has tried various foods and supplements and I really don't want to eat very much.

Today I was on the bed and mom said lets go for a ride and I just didn't want to get up.

She stopped giving me the pain meds for aa couple of days but today she gave me some cause I really looked like I was in pain.

I know mom is so sad and she keeps saying I know you are 14. We are not giving up and mom is taking me back next week to see Dr D.

Thank you for all your warm thoughts I can really feel the enrgy.

I need paw prayers...

Mom took me to the vet today cause I was not eating and I didn't want to walk. I lost 1 1/2 lbs I am now down to 26 lbs. Dr D took some x-rays again and she found some kind of lump by my heart . She said on my March 13 x-ray you could hardly see it, it has grown in 1 month. She is hoping that since I had a infection that maybe it is a lymph node . I had a slight fever too.

She gave me 3 shots and some yukky stuff that mom is going to try and shoot into my mouth everyday for 2 week since I spit out pills...
I am going to go back to Dr D in 2 weeks and get more x-rays. Mom is making me chicken soup she said that is the best stuff when you don't feel good.

Please keep me in your prayers that I will be ok. Well I am tired so I am going to take a little nap.

The "racs " are back...

yup this big rac was in my yard last night. I was just getting ready for bed and going out one last time, when all of a sudden I see thoes eyes.. good thing mom was out with me, she shinned the light on him , I started to bark , then Arnold came out and he really scared him off .

I'm back on patrol now that spring is here...with all the snails the racs are comming to our yard to dig them up. Got to keep the turtles safe...We found a turtle that the racs had taken a couple of years ago. Arnie found him in the yard, The racs must of dumped him when he closed his shell...

I can smell them when they get close...hope I scared him off for good!!!
