Arrival Story: Back in the early years of Best Friends Animal Sanctuary, before they became corporate, I was friends and a volunter for them here in So CA. One day I get a call from the Sanctuary, from Silva asking me if I can take another dog, I had 4 at the time , but I was dealing with a cancer dog and a diabetic cat. I was told that this dog was a favor to Kim Bassinger the actress, her sectretary had found her , and they had place d her in a few homes that didn't work out. Samdra was a barker, and pretty agressive. They said itwould be a big favor to them, since Kim was a big donator. Silva said, I know you won't get rid of her if she has problems...then she said...By the way she does not like MEN.!
Well wen went to pick her up, I get out of the car and ny husband stayed in, as soon as I got her in the car she jumped up on Nick and rode all the way home with him, that night she jumped on the bed and they slept together.
She was a physco dog...barking, chewing, growling. She was a real challenge. You'd never know that she was the same girl. WE've had her now for 13 years and Sandra Marie is the girl of the house, and she sure loves her dad.

The Last Forum I Posted In: Gimme some paw
The Beaver Courier came and got me in the wee hours..I was already ready for them...I have my winter coat and mitts for my paws.
I was soo excited, I was met by my good friend Demon Flash Bandit and his beautiful Sister Angel Zoom Smokey...
I wanted to try one of the candy canes because I believe that they have mystical powers..
I arrived at our campsite for me to be picked up by the rest of the team, I was greeted by Savannah and her brother Samoa Sunny Belle, the excitement was too much for me. After setteling down for a while, having a little pepermint coco and a drop of schnapps I was ready to go with Samoa to find the reindeers...I had in my fur a candy cane to offer to them.....He said to be on the look out for Cheney....so with that away we went....

Last night Mr Bear came around 10:00pm strutting across our front yard..
He was so quiet no one heard him. Flo was on her cat furniture looking out when all of a sudden her eyes got so wide, it was the bear... Arnold stood up on the sofa and took a look out this guy had to be abound 6-700lbs, so he walks around then sees some trash cans across the street checks them out then goes to the house next door, I could see him at there side glass dooor at the kitchen when all of a sudden he pushed there door open, I could see our neighbor run out and Mr Bear took off soo fast you think he was running a marathon.
I'd rather have him in my yard than thoes racs..so after everything got quiet and I stopped barking it was back to bed. it is still hot here so I guess he is not going to hibernate for a while..
Well mom and I are going for our walk and then she told me cause I' am DDP that we can go get Burger King...that Demon F.B. was right they are the best!
