My Life as Rosie

I went on the boat!!!

Yesterday I went on the boat! Mama woke me up early and the humans going with us put me in the back of the truck. When we got there, I had to wait for the humans to get the boat in the water, then I got on it. We had a long ride to the beach we were going to. The ride was fast, so I figured I'd lay down on the way there. When we got there, they put this big, hard thing attatched to a rope in the water. They called in an "an-core?" Then, I finally got in the water!! I could stand in it, the humans said it was "shel-low?". I swam around, then walked on the beach with Mama! Lots of friendly humans and little humans came up to pet me, and said I was pretty. I liked those humans!! When it was time for lunch, Mama gave me some of her(plain)ham sandwich. My other humans gave me part of ham-and-cheese ones too. I also got peanut butter crackers!!! SO good! Mama tanned on the front of the boat, and I layed down with her. She sat up for a sec, and I moved to her towel!! She got another one to lay on, and we both relaxed. Mama put her "sun-glas-ses?" on me. She thought I looked good in em'! I thought I looked goofy, but they were fun to wear. When it was time to go, we rode back on the boat. We got the boat out of the water, and I got back into the truck. Then the humans went to get pizza!! I waited in the back of the pickup truck, where it was cool, and waited for them to get out. They brought me pizza crusts!!! They were the best! I napped most of the way home. My brofur, Cracker got a break from me, we annoy each other. He doesn't like the water that much anyways. So, that was my day on the boat!!! I had so much fun!! Summer Time!!!

I am having a great summer. So far this year, I have discovered a few things:
1:
Swimming in the pool with Mama is not only fun, but it gives me EXTRA attention because she has to watch me extra and follow me around when I swim so I don't scratch up the pool liner.

2:
Playing in a water hose is PAWSOME!

3:
Truck rides are fun!

How has everyfur else's summer been?

CATS, CATS EVERYWHERE!!

CATS ARE EVERYWHERE! (Well, it's just a few, but it seems like they are EVERYWHERE!!! I really get annoyed by those cats! They tease me because my owner won't let me chase them!!!!!!!! When I bark at the cats, my owner tells me, hush, you silly girl!! She means well, but I want to CHASE THE CATS!!!!!!
