There was a little excitement at my house yesterday. Early in the day I kept hearing this buzzing sound and once in a while, I would see what looked like a bird, but far away.

Then it started coming my way, toward my house. It was getting louder and louder and under it was this thing. As I watched, the thing was attacking the trees. It was like a storm without the rain and lightning.

Then it started moving right up our road, the tree branches were blowing around, the leaves were flying everywhere and there was a lot of wind. That was when I became frightened. Mom had been taking pictures and video when she saw that I was really scared she took me inside. You could barely hear it from inside the house. Mom explained that the electric company was trimming the trees, to help keep our power on during storms. (On the first day of trimming, last Monday, we were without power for several hours. Probably a branch hit a line.)

Two friends on Catster, Sassy and Pepper, explained that the thing hanging from the bird was a saw with a long arm and it is called a Giraffe!! Their human bro drives one of those birds. Wonder what it would be like to fly with the birds? I would like to try one, just once, to scare Buddy a little. He thought the wind blowing the leaves yesterday was fun. He was running around crazy chasing the leaves!!
Well if that big bird comes back again, I bet I will not be afraid because I turn one tomorrow, so I will be a grown up then.
