I am a teacher in Brooklyn. Every afternoon while a mom was picking up a boy in my class, she would bring the shihtzu. One day she explained that it was Grandma's and she could no longer keep the dog & was about to bring her to a shelter. I observed this friendly little girl for a week, was smitten and took her home.
