Rain, rain go away........

Man the ships.... we're going down! You would not believe how much it rained here today. Us puppies were all ready to go outside for an afternoon of fun since Mom had the afternoon off. Well, it poured so much that we never left our warm, inside abode. Mom did feel a bit sorry for us, so she puppy proofed the kitchen and let us race around in there. That helped a bit.
I sure hope it doesn't rain tomorrow, too, cuz I was hoping to get down into that big yard again. It would be okay if it was cloudy... clouds make better photos according to Mom. And, since she is making her calendars for Christmas she may need some more photos of ME!!!
I am just hoping she doesn't expect me to be outside bouncing about in the newly fallen snow like she does those poodles... I hope she is remembering that I have NO HAIR at all and would be very, very cold!
It IS supposed to be warm tomorrow, I guess. The warmer weather is coming up the coast from my old home in NC. I do appreciate it!

I am exhausted!!!!!!!!!!

Whew... having a kid stay at your house when you are a puppy is very, very exhausting! She came Tuesday, but we were already in bed so I only got to say hi. Wednesday morning first thing she took us (me, Condi, Walter, and the lab pup), over to work in that pink stroller. We are getting bigger so it took TWO trips... Then, instead of leaving us in our big pen over there we got to have the WHOLE daycare room for ourselves. Skye played and played with us... we chased toys, we ran and jumped, we got held, we got pushed around in the stroller, whew! Finally, Mom made her put us in the pen for a nap. After our nap we got to go outside and play some more with her. Then, we came home and played more! The poor lab pup was sooo tired last night that she crashed right on top of me and Condi... I didn't need my pajamas to keep warm, I had a pudgy puppy covering me all night long!
Today was even more playing. Today she took us each one at a time and played with us. That was pretty nice, I got to sit at the table for a long time. Then, she carried us all around the whole building! She wanted to give us all a bath, but I guess she was tired, too, cuz Julie ended up bathing me and Walter and Condi and the lab didn't have baths. Today she got a big blanket and stayed right on the floor with us. At daycare there is a big huge bucket filled with toys. Would you believe Skye poured the whole bucket of toys out on the floor for us? Man, it was like Christmas, but we didn't know which toys to play with first, there were soo many! Finally, Mom made us take a nap again and then it was time to come home. Now Skye has gone home and we are resting up! I hope we will have enough energy to make it over to work tomorrow!

Playing in the sunshine all day long!

Wow, it was very, very warm today! And, the sun made it even warmer so Mom let us stay outside in the kitchen yard for almost three hours! She thought we would be a little tired so she took us down to the big yard for a photo shoot. Well, I am here to tell you that tired is not in my vocabulary! I ran and ran and ran. Best of all, Condi ran with me today instead of just sitting up by the shed. Mom took over 200 photos of us!! She said most of them weren't too good cuz the bright sun made huge black shadows over us. They made my body look like it had water splashed all over it. But, she did get some decent ones which she added to my page.
Then, we came inside for a nap while Mom took the baby labs for a ride. When she came back she only had one with her so she put her in with us. Great idea!!! Now Walter has someone to chew on and pick on so Condi and I can play nicely with each other and not have to worry about him. The problem is that she is a lab and she ate ALL of our supper. Hrumph! I prefer to nibble a bit here and there all thru the day. So does Condi... she takes a bite and goes into her bed to eat it, then comes back for another bite. Silly dog!
Well, we gotta go to sleep now, catch ya later!

I got a My Little Pony!!!

Today Toto's friend Skye came to visit. She even brought me a purple my little pony for my very own! She said it looks like me. Purple, huh? Anyway, she was the first young person I ever met up close and personal. I was a bit chilly so she put my jammies on me, then she was holding me and loving me. Only problem was that Toto kept coming up and trying to push me away from her. Finally, I had enough so I growled at him!!! Unfortunately, Mom overheard me growl and she yelled at me and made Skye put me down. Can you imagine? I am just trying to protect my new friend Skye and Mom yells at me and not Toto!!!
I guess I better not mention to Toto that Skye said I could go kayaking with her next Spring! He might start growling at me if he finds out about that!!!

I am Mom's project for the day!!!

Today Mom has a project and it's me!! Frankly, by the looks of our house she has more than me as a project, but, whatever. Her project with me is to get a nice close on photo of me. It seems that I am kind of small and whenever she takes a photo of me I am lost in the back. If she crops to me, I am all pixelated cuz even with high resolution I am pretty small. It is nice and sunny today so when Mom gets back from work she is taking me down to the big yard and using her biggest and fastest camera to try again.
I sure hope she puts my jammies on... it is pretty cold out today!!! I could be all out of focus if I am shivering.

We go exploring!!!

First of all, it's Saturday and we usually stay home from work on Saturday but this morning Mom came and got us and put us out in the daycare yard over there. She said it was exceptionally warm and sunny. We didn't argue!
When we got home both me and Connie got to go down into Beanie's famous big yard. It was pretty cool down there, I have to admit! But, there is something in that big shed, I swear. Both me and Connie had to keep running up there to check it out but Mom caught us every time and called us back. Because we are puppies, we still come when she calls us so we didn't get to see what was there.
Anyway, we went home and Ali and Georgie came down for a while. Well, you won't believe... Mom took ME again and this time she took Walter with me and we got to go back down there. She muttered something about not getting any good photos of me before. Not my fault, I was acting as photogenic as I could. Maybe she doesn't realize that NONE of us are as photogenic as Tyson the wonder dog!!!

Leash broken????

Mom hates that word, she much prefers leash trained. Well, in my case it was almost Harvey broken!!! Today was the day... first Mom put her famous leash around Walter's neck. Silly Walter just started strutting around like he was a big deal show dog! He did make a bit of a screaming noise, but that's just Walter! After a few minutes he started taking Mom for a walk... he put the leash in his mouth and away he went! Hmmm, Mom even took him out into the store and he kept doing his screaming but he kept walking right along nicely.
Next it was my turn! Okay, this isn't too bad, Mom is gonna take me outside??? Soo, I raced for the door. That worked, but when we got to the door Mom turned around and made me go the other way... she keeps calling me a little pony, well, what would a pony do??? Yup, I started bucking and bucking!!! That didn't get me too far... she would just stop moving until I stopped bucking, then away we would go again. Sooo, I walked nicely all around the daycare room. We went into the store. There are a few big stuffed dogs in there so I raced up to them and tried to get them to rescue me. Nope, they wouldn't so I started bucking again... same thing happened, she would just stop until I stopped bucking. We did that three or four times, then I was tired so I just went where she took me, whew, back to my pen!!!
Now, Connie... she is different. First of all, when she realized Mom was after her she took off for the far corner of the pen!!! I could have told her that wouldn't work and it didn't, Mom just came in the pen and got her. Well, she wasn't walking on any old leash, she just sat down! Mom just turned around and started walking... Connie started sliding on her butt across the floor. Hmmm, not working, Momsie!!! Not one to give up easily, Mom picked her up and carried her out to the store. Connie sat on the floor and wouldn't move at all!!! Well, there is carpet out there so she didn't slide too well. Mom started tugging a bit, Connie just leaned back and sat! Sooo, Mom decided to wait and take her along when Walter and I go on a leash walk... Mom figures she will follow us... I dunno, like I said before, Connie is different!!!!!

I don't have a collar yet cuz I have a sensitive neck. It has NO hair on it!

I eat Rotations puppy food. Right now I am eating the Wild Salmon and peas and carrots, before I had the Chicken and brown rice, and next I will get the lamb and sweet potato. Mmmmmm good!

3. What are your favorite treats?
I like all kinds of treats, but especially Zukes and/or string cheese.

4. Do you have a Valentine or significant other?
No, do you want me?????

5. Do you get table scraps?
Nope, but sometimes I get some Stella & Chewy's raw patty.

6. What is your favorite toy?
Ahh, I LOVE all toys, each and every one of them, but I play most with Mom's kennel leash!!! Me and Connie and Walter play tug of war with it. Mom says we are leashbreaking ourselves with it!

7. When is your birthday?
I don't know exactly yet, but it's in July, around the middle of July, 2009

8. How many times a day do you eat?
I eat twice a day.

I LOVE the color blue... most of my jammies are blue!

Hey, I got a suntan!!!

Wow, it is late October, almost November and I got my first suntan already! Mom really likes it, too. My breeder Mom said I was a slate colored CC when Mom got me, but she said I also might turn black. Well, two days last week it was nice and warm and sunny and one day this week it was, too, and we all played outside all afternoon. Guess what?? I am BLACK now!!!! Mom is really happy about that, in fact, she is talking about getting me a tanning lamp for the Winter! Nah, she won't do that, but she does like the black skin.
Mom knew about this happening... when she shaves a white poodle all the places that get shaved turn black when they go out in the sun. Soo, she knew it would happen to me, but she just didn't know it would happen this late in the season!
Anyway, I am out playing in the living room with the three boys again tonight. Mom didn't let me sleep in the bed last night, but she will soon, I can just feel it coming! She says I need to take a few naps in there first so that I know not to jump off the bed but to use the steps. She said dogs like me and toy poodles can break our legs if we jump off the bed!!! I don't want no broken legs, I would lose my suntan if that happened!!!!!!!

Mom is lovin' me!

I guess I will stay here cuz Mom sure is loving playing with me! Tonight she let me out with Toto, Tyson and Beanie for the first time. I am zooming circles all around them! I move so fast that they just sit there with their eyes spinning around their heads! Mom sits at her computer and laughs and laughs at me! Of course, I have to zoom all around and I can't sit still cuz if I do I will FREEZE!!! Nah, I won't freeze and besides, Mom got me some new Pajama's so I don't need to wear Beanie's hand me downs anymore.
I gotta go now cuz Mom took a bunch of photos and I gotta look at them and pick which ones to put on my page! Bye!
