Arrival Story: My mom found me at a fostering shelter on Petfinder.com , I was 13 weeks old. She saw my mugshot (bottom photo), looking all cute, and knew I was the guy for her. Mom didn't know much about my breed when she got me, and boy was some of the stuff she read scary! If she followed half the stuff they said, I would be living in a cage, with a mussle on! She quickly found out that I'm not scary at all. My grammy and grampy love it when i snuggle with them on the sofa (sometimes i snore) I'm their favorite GranDog... i'll give kisses to just about anyone or anything.. just say the word! I love giving kisses!
Bio: We're a perfect match. We both HATE the cold, so we both can relate to those winter days when "its too cold for a walk", and are content to just snuggle up on the sofa and stay in the house. Mom even lets me burrough under the covers when its especially cold, I keep her feet warm.
I have 2 cousins, Bella & Blake. I love Bella, she's not too rough with me, although she's an Australian Kelpie, so she likes to nip my legs a little. Blake is a monster child that knocks me down all the time.. so we don't play too much. Blake the Brut :P ..
I have tons of friends in the neighborhood, there's Ranger, who escapes his yard all the time and comes straight to my yard to play, mom has restricted him a bit cause he pee's on all of her pretty flowers... Pounce, he's a German Shephard, with some issues, he's afraid of his own shadow, but we take walks together, so he can learn to trust other dogs... My old girlfriend KC, the Puggle, she is a wild one! she runs circles around me. My favorite dog is Lucky, my gf, she's an older woman, a lab/beagle, and she's bossy. Her mom says I'm the only dog she's ever liked. Wow am I special! When my mom says her name... Lucky... i go nuts cause I know I get to see her. The best thing about our relationship is that Lucky doesnt really "play" with me, we just lounge around, protect the yard from squirrels, and hang out with our people.
I've had some issues with my legs, since i was young. I started limping on my back right leg almost a year ago now. Mom had x-rays taken, which showed some arthuritis setting in. Possibly an ACL injury (probably Blake's fault), but I don't let it discourage me. Mom lifts me into the car, I still walk.. no drag.. mom on walks when i'm full of energy. Mom's not sure about surgery for me. The limping comes and goes, and I'm happy either way. :)

I've Been On Dogster Since:
Ok.. so mom switched my food.. from Iams chunks, to Iams lamb and rice... I don't have itchy red face anymore (yay) but more than that... I haven't limped in a week! I had x-rays, and have artheritis in my knees.. but the limping is all but GONE! what gives! It's been rainy and damp, and mom complains about her knuckes aching all the time... so why aint my knees hurtin??????? We're confusededed. Rats.. time to coat up for a rainy walk.... ew and apparently a doodle (just ripped one, I'm a boy after all)
We talked my Aunt Rabecca (neighbor) into goin' for our walk tonight. We're gonna make it a daily thing i hope. On the trek down to the beach and back, I met 6 new kids! there was 3 in one group.. they waited for me at the corner cause they saw me comin', I could hear them talkin about how cute i was... then the other group of 3 waited for me to pass, then followed behind and asked if they could pet me... haha... UM YEAH! I thought u'd never ask! haha. The great thing about kids, is that they don't look at me as a pitbull .. they look at me as a dog, and a happy dog that loves life. It's too bad that there are people out there that fear me because they've read a story in a newspaper about something a dog did that really didnt have proper training, or good guardians. We're not monsters, we're just strong, and need to be tought what society expects of us, we're smarter than you can imagine, and just want to please. So please look at the guardian of the dog, before you blame a dog for any wrong doing.
Well, I got my W.A.L.K. on Saturday as promised. It was fun, except for the crazy dog that was trying to get over the fence at us. I don't really understand why a dog would be so angry. I bark at new dogs walking past, but not try to rip them to shreds. Geesh! So, besides that, we saw a crazy mutant squirrel .. black with a blonde tail.. Hmm.. where do you suppose that squirrel is from? It rained most the day today, and mom was pretty much glued to the sofa, I think she had a "ruff" night. (ouch) Hopefully it wont rain tomorrow so i can get a walk in. I'm not limping as much since we've been out walking more.
