Likes: She loves have her ears scratched Pet-Peeves: She hates it when Duncan yaps at her or when we restrain her tail to keep it from knocking things over Favorite Toy: Tug-a-war is her favorite game and so her tug-a-war rope is her favorite toy Favorite Food: Cookies! Her head reaches to counter tops so she loves to sneek cookies. Favorite Walk: She likes to walk around the park with Bear and Duncan Best Tricks: She is the best alarm clock! She sings in the morning to keep me from over sleeping :) Arrival Story: Maggie was lost and found wandering around in my neighborhood, she was running up to the doors or the houses down my street and quite a few people tried to catch her but she remained evasive. My dad was out side in the garage when she came up to our house and they immediately hit it off. Dad brought her inside and she ran up to me (this should have worried because I was sitting on the floor so she towered over me but it didn’t) I named her Shasta and thanked my dad for my new dog. My mom called to police and told them that we had found a Great Dane and gave them our phone number so the owners could contact us. Throughout the night I became more attached to Maggie and I have managed to convince my parents to let me keep her so of course I was disappointed when we got a call from Maggie’s owners. They told us that Maggie’s name was indeed Maggie and we told them that they were lucky to have such a wonderful dog and that if nobody had contacted us we would have kept her. As it turns out they were looking for a home for Maggie and so the next day Maggie came to live with me. I've Been On Dogster Since:
