Arrival Story:
Cody was stuffed in a crate that was 2 sizes too small in a pet store. Despite his rough start he loves everyone. When he first came to his home he could barley walk. X-rays revealed extremely dysplastic hips and major muscle atrophy. He was going to be a $5,000 dollar free dog. That didn't matter to us though cause we already fell in love with him so whatever it took to help him. Having to wait until he was 1-1.5 years old to determine what we could do to help him, we tried nightly manipulative massage to the hips and regular exercise and walking. Thinking he could never walk right he now runs and plays with the best of them. Other than viewing his x-rays and seeing the dysplasia; he no longer has to roll over and sit because of his hips and the pain he had. His vet calls him the miracle boy! He loves his sister Lacoda - a GSD and his little human girl. He has a wonderful disposition and is a joy to have.
