Arrival Story:
I was at a lady's collecting for the newspaper (a former part-time job) in San Diego and she mentioned she had a puppy in the garage. Apparently, the whole litter had been dumped about a month prior and the rest had been picked up by animal control. The lady had been leaving food out for the puppy but couldn't get her out the garage. She had several cats and another dog already so I offered to take the puppy and find a home for her. The rest, as they say, is history. Kaydia has enriched my life in so many ways it is amazing.
Bio:
Kaydia is very skittish due to the fact that she not only missed her socialization window, she is part coyote. I have done a lot of work with her and very proud of her. In San Diego, she completed a Shy Dog class as well a regular obedience class. She used to love dog parks but, unfortunately, as she has gotten older she is quite a crank at the park so we no longer go.
