Arrival Story:
My fiance and I purchased a new home and the week after we got settled in he took me to our local SPCA to get me a dog for my birthday. I was looking at a different dog when he called me over to try and get cubbie's attention because he wasnt responding to my fiance so I went over and immediately cubbie started pawing through the spaces in the cage whining that he wanted me to hold him I realized he had half his hair missing off the back part of his body and his hair was matted and way overgrown. I started crying because I had felt horrible for this poor animal. Needless to say we adopted him. He definately was abused the whole first month we brought him home he would not bark and followed me around the house leading to his nick name "velcro puppy". He had very bad allergies and infections in both ears and a rotten tooth that needed to be removed following his adoption from the SPCA. This dog is so sweet and so loving I cant see how someone could let him go and care for him properly.

(yawn) Well good morning to all you late risers like myself and to the early risers good afternoon. My name is Cubbie, I am a former shelter dog and was previously with owners who didn't care for me the way my mommy and daddy do now. I've been through a lot when my mommy and daddy adopted me I never thought people could be so nice to me they hold me let me follow them around the house and sleep in their bed. I love to sleep I'm very laid back I play sometimes but not as often as that crazy nut Zoe. I love her but sometimes she gets on my nerves. I dont like thunder or strange people I get very anxious. My human mommy is my best friend we watch tv go for walks We are fellow scorpios our birthdays are only 2 days apart! Well that's it for now time for lunch a milkbone and probably following mommy around the house while she does her housework. I look forward to being friends with all of the pups on dogster.
