Arrival Story:
After losing Ty Ty I was not ready to adopt another baby, but I agreed to foster.....the foster dog an 80 lb labradoodle jumped out of my car window to chase a deer....after searching for her for 14 hours I found out she was at the SPCA....I went to get her and had never been to an SPCA before....when I saw all of the sad dogs it broke my heart. I felt at that moment that Ty would want me to give another baby a good home.....so I left the SPCA with not only the foster dog, but adopted 2 more dogs....Bently and Missy.

Bio:
Bently had been chained by his previous owner and had very little room to move around.....he actually had to lay in his own feces....his hair was so matted with dirt and feces in it that his tail was so heavy he could not even lift it. Bently was very sick......he had a bad ear infection and kennel cough and had stopped eating....the SPCA was giving up on him and was going to put him down.....we brought him home and shaved him to get all the dirt and feces off of him.....he did not know what a toy was....he did not know what a treat was....he weighed only 45 lbs. After 2 months he weighed 74 lbs. and very much knows what a toy is for and what to do with a treat. He is very happy now and very healthy and loves playing all day with Missy.
