Arrival Story:
He was my husband's father's dog - when his father died, his mother kept him until she and her new boyfriend were going to travel around the states in a camper. She left him with my husband (who was my boyfriend at the time) and that first night, our second date, the night before Thanksgiving, he walked into my house and peed on my kitchen floor. I couldn't even believe that this was a dog (not compared to my big hound dog) and he was matted and unkempt. He and I bonded, though, and within a few short visits, he bonded to me, and he was mine ever since.
Bio:
We had to put Pepper to sleep because he had liver cancer. I held him in my arms, and still cry about that silly pup. He broke my heart, and was my greatest joy and biggest heartache. I still cry about that dog! He taught me that small dogs are indeed dogs, and great ones. It's because of him that I will always have a Tzu, and that I'll always work on behalf of Tzus everywhere .
