Arrival Story:
We adopted Cody through a pretty shady "rescue" in West Virginia. He was our very first dog and we loved him so very much. When we first got him, he was very sick with worms and even had a toenail ripped out of his foot which was infected. We got him healthy and he was a wonderful dog.

Bio:
Cody was such an amazing dog. We loved him so very much - even wound up adopting our dog, Kylie, to keep him company. He was anxious, bordering on neurotic at times. Then he started having seizures which lead to a very painful, stressful, agonizing 3 months of different vets, testing, and trying different drugs. He was finally diagnosed with a rare brain lesion which was fatal. My husband and I made the hardest decision of our lives to help Cody cross that rainbow bridge on March 20, 2008, way before his time. He was not quite 2 years old and I still miss him with a vengeance.
