Meeting strangers. When mom stops and talks to neighbors on our walks. When she won't let me tug at her to chase squirrels. Loud noises, storms and firecrackers. The mailman, definitely.
Favorite Toy:
Definitely the small basketball that we throw and catch and nylabones.
Favorite Food:
Italian. Only when mom lets me have a miniscule bite if there isn't any onion or garlic. But mainly I eat my two 1/2 cup portions daily and I LOVE milk bones.
Favorite Walk:
Definitely the parks, but satisfied to walk around the neighborhood.
Best Tricks:
I don't have any tricks but I did pass obediance school but was still too immature to pass therapy dog international. I can't help it if I bark loud and at strangers!
Arrival Story:
My shelti, Cody, was 14 years old and magical. He passed away in January of 06 and 3 weeks later my father passed away. My brother convinced me it was time to find a puppy. I never buy from pet stores but she was there at Petland (!) and I asked her if she wanted to come home with me and she didn't say anything but I felt that she needed me, and I think in that sense I rescued her because especially now that I know Petland deals with puppy mills, I think I was right. They sure had me fooled! Never again will I shop there. But I love Ruby and she loves me.
