Yesterday, on Labor Day, Sept 3, 2012, I went to the Rainbow Bridge.
Mommy noticed that my breathing had become harder for me. She was very worried, I could see it in her eyes. She told me she was going to bring me to the Emergency Vets so they could help me. They put me in a place with oxygen so I could breath much better, and tried to rid my body of excess fluids. They told mommy I was critical. They were going to keep me over nite , but they had to call mommy a few hours later and tell her I was not going to win this battle. I am not sure what happened next but I woke up at this beautiful place they call the Rainbow Bridge. I hope mommy knows I will miss her, but for once my pain and my staph infection are gone.
I am looking down on mommy and see her crying, still. Please don't cry mommy, you gave me a forever home while I was on earth, and I know you tried your best to make be better.
So here I am, running like a puppy, chasing butterflies and rainbows!!!
Don't be sad mommy, I will forever live in your heart.
