Arrival Story:
I was looking for another dog to liven up our home and starting looking through the shelters. I went down and saw her sitting in a keenel just staring at me. There were two that I was interested in but she was an older dog and didn't have anyone wanting her. Since we have had her she has been a sweet loving wonderful dog.

Someone took me away from my family

Someone a little over a week ago stole me from my family. My mom and dad are so sad and worried. They don't know why someone would take me. I am 7 years old and fixed, so why take me from my home? There are alot of doggies is the shelters needing homes, and the cost is only 25$, so why take me? My mom loves me so much and she misses me everyday! Please bring me home, just drop me off in my backyard.

Well today I had a problem. For some reason, during the night last night I pooped on the floor and then again today in the kitchen. I don't know why I did it, I was outside alot, but for some reason I just had to. Mom didn't get mad, she just let me out. I am so sad about this, I didn't mean it. I will try better tomorrow.

I have a new home!

On friday Aug. 7th I came to my new home. My new mom was looking around the local shelter for a new friend and I was still sad from the loss of my first home. When I was taken from my first home I wasn't in good shape. My old owners had let fleas cover me, I wasn't groomed and I am a little underweight. Well when my new mom got me home, she had to give me three baths to treat for fleas. I had so many fleas on me, it had to be in the hundreds. I was also so dirty that the shelter got my coat color wrong. They said I was a rusty brown and it turns out I am a red! I also had very badly overgrowen nails. It was so bad they had curled and mom had a hard time cutting them. Now 3 days later, I am feeling better. My nails are cut, my pretty fur is brushed, mom hasn't trimed it yet because my skin is still a little red from the fleas, but I am alot cleaner and I smell great. Mom has been giving me extra treats to help get my weight back up. I am so happy now, I always cuddle with my family, I love to give kisses, and I am great at my tricks. I also love having a new sister, Coda. Her and I have alot of fun running around the back yard, we run after each other and just have a great time. I am so happy to have such a great home. I love my new family.
