Arrival Story:
Abby was surrendered to CRA with her brother Bucky because their parents were older and unable to take care of them anymore. Abby was with her prior family for 13.5 years. Abby is being fostered in Texas, but we are a national rescue and may be able to help transport her to you if you are interested in adopting her and giving her the "retirement home" she so greatly deserves.

Bio:
Abby can be extremely affectionate in a non-child enviornment. She is the first to climb into a lap, but also likes to get down and explore. Abby is not potty trained; her mom kept her in diapers. She is spayed, is current with her shots and heartworm preventative. She is looking for a quiet retirement home where she can live out her days being the diva she is and being given all the attention she wants. she is a low maintenance girl to have around. She prefers a lap, but will sit very still and quiet while you watch television or work on the computer. She is very bossy to the other dogs in the house, which doesn't always go over well. She doesn't have any teeth, so nobody gets hurt, but she would reallly do best in a home without competition from other dogs. Abby prefers the company of people.
