Arrival Story:
We adopted Casey from our local pound just before closing time. Someone had turned him over to them and he was quite skinny and dirty, but very sweet (and hyper!) We took him to the vet a couple of days later for a check-up and discovered that he had heartworms. He completed treatment and got his clean bill of health December 27th, 2004! So now he can run and play and just have fun again! He loves going to "dog school" and is thinking of pursuing a career in agility or therapy dog or both!

A Day in the Life of Casey

Oh boy, oh boy! I am having the time of my life living here with my Ma and Pa! I had a rocky start, getting dropped off at the pound and being sick with heartworms. For two months I had to stay quiet, which was VERY hard for me because I am so full of myself sometimes! I'm not bad, I just like to RUN! Ma says it's because I'm still young, but I'm gonna stay like this for a while (shhh....don't tell her) Anyway, I am all better now and I am ready to have some fun. Today I think I am going to sleep, play with my tennis ball, lay on the couch, play with my Kong, sleep, run as fast as I can through the house a few times, and then eat dinner!
