They were gone TOO long, almost a month. I sure did miss them.
The first week they were gone we stayed here and hosted Laddie Cali and Lando and their Mommy and Daddy. Magic had been staying here when they came so there were 3 B&Ts, 2 Rubys, and 1 Blenheim. WHen they left we went to stay at the REscue lady's house with our good friends, Spencer, Carter, Siena and Magic. Fergie got to know Sarah who is just like her. ANd then there is Sophie and Maggie. Maggie is the youngest so we had a great time. I tought her to hunt gekkos. It was kind of like summer camp, but in the winter.
Now Mom is back and really back. SHe's not even going out to the office in the morning. Nice to have her here but I think she is starting to get itchy to find a new job. Like when I stand at the door.
Next weekend should be real fun. Giorgia is coming over with all 5 of her ruby girl puppies. Can't wait to meet them.

today is my 2nd birthday! can you believe it? What's even more crazy is you all have been there for all of it. From Mama Tina's declaration of that's CJ's B&T to today!
Mom's not here but we just talked on the black box. I thinky. Mom calls it Skype. She even showed me my present, a bouncy dragon fly. I LOVE to catch flies, I'm sure I will love it.
Daddy already gave me the wipped cream off his latte, But that is Fergie's treat... Mom hinted that there was some liverwurst yet in my future tonight. WOW!
Special kisses to my Summer. Can't beleive we are growing up. Mom says that here is still a chance we will REALLLY get to meet this year. WHen is your birthday my girl? Who knows?

Even before Mom left for Brasil I heard her talking about the Cavalier Fun Day. She was real upset she couldn't go but she convinced Daddy that he should take at least me and Giorgia, because we are SO social and we would have a good time. And then the rescue lady asked him to bring Molly and he wasn't going to leave Fergie home alone. So EVERYfur was going...
He was putting stuff, grill, hotdog chili, crates in the car. I wanted to help so I tunneled out under the fence... but once Giorgia and I were out I kind of forgot and went exploring. Giorgia just went over to help Daddy.
Some lady 3 blocks away called Dad 2 hours later because I had come to her house. By then it was too late to go to Cavalier Fun Day.... I spent the rest of the day in the crate...
I think I messed Up...

Some explaination.... We went to the Toy Dog show in Orlando the past weekend.
Mommy wanted to start our show career here, but the she needed to register me 2.5 weeks before and my rear end did not look showable, bare ass naked was I.... I'm not as hairy as I was in April but it's coming back... Friday night we could enter a B match at the last minute and we won. Gave Mom and me all sorts of confidence. Looking forward to next time. Strutt my stuff, Oh yeh.

First my lady, the beautiful Summer had her day, her ONE year very first ever very special birthday. She is so lovely. I sooooooooooooo hope she liked the gifts we sent. Í know she will look loverly in the green collar (sorry about the leash) and the ice cream cone just seemed perfect for a Summer Day. Did Nibbles and Bubba enjoy the party favors?
The non furs had a frenzy of special days. Nana turned 80, thats like 12+ for us. ANd she an Grandad have been married 60. And Aunt Sonya goes over the hill to 50 (not like the bridge) and then the cuz Austin went over 21 (careful with the puptails cuz, trust me)
Mom went to celebrate with all the nons, but we got to get in on the act on the no smell box. Nana and Granddad and Mom all together saying hi. How cool is 2010? I'd say 21st century but since I'm all of 1 year plus i have no concept of what that means

Of course the big news is... I AM ONE YEAR ONE!!!!!!!!! well no, even more than that. I am no longer a "puppy" I AM ONE.
Mom and Dad decided I should have real (not virtual like Fergie's) PAWTY!!! So we invited a bunch of pup and non-furpals. This is Florida so it had to be a barbeque. Steak and chicken and pork and sausage on the grill. Momma Tina and Momma Vicki our breeders, The Rescue Lady and her husband, Linguini's mom Donna and Dad Bubba, My little Gal Berghan and her Mom, Auntie Di all came to wish me happy Birthday. They chauffered Spencer, Sarah, Yoda. Fred, Emily, and Linguini. Dad cooked up a whole bunch of meat and made sure every pup had a bit. And then the cake!!!!! Mom baked (she swears she NEVER bakes for non furs) a super-duper chicken carrot cake with yorgurt icing. I and ALL the pups thought she did a great job. WE ate every crumb we were offered.
Wednesday Night Mom says there's a new guy coming. Ollie is rescue, a 7 year old Ruby boy, He's going to stay here for a bit until he has some eye surgery and then his furever home says, YEAH!!!
We're getting along just grand and I know his real family will love him whole bunches.
The crowning glory of this week is today!!!! My lady, my gal Summer sent me the most amazing box of goodies for my birthday. First there is this giraffe, that SMELLS like her, and it's ong and shakable ande maybe could hide treats and WOW how cool... (see pictures on my profile) and a couple of bull spirals for me and Fergie And then there is a futebol toy... Do you know how important futebol is to my Brasilian hearted mom. Well lets say it brought tears to her her eyes. WOW what a week!!!

Tunneling! The sandy soil here in Florida is just so fun to dig in. AND we found out that if you do it right by the fence you can even take yourself for your own WALK and not have to wait for mommy or the silly leash thingy. Both the next door neighbor and the lady with the two Jack Russells across the street were so happy to see us in their yards they asked us in. And called Mom and Dad to come over too. We didn't stay long after that.
Dad already filled in those holes and put cinder block up against the fence. Mom is threatening to take out the dog door so we'll have to asked to go out to do our bizness. Gee wiz Mom, can't a boy have some fun?

My little brother, Mini Me (cuz he looks so much like our dad) is here to visit!!!
Momma Tina is going to a show in Kentucky so he's staying with us for alt least a week. We picked up right were we left off. Barking at the SQUIRREL. Rassling, on top of Daddy in bed. Tug of war with Monkey2.
Fergie isn't even too perturbed, because now I don't have to bother her.
Ferrugem, the cat, is less enthusiastic

And you know what boy dogs do with trees....
Actually I´ve been kinda good. Just sniffed and threatened a couple of times. It is a tree you know.
However the little lambs with the styrofoam bodies Mom brought from the Netherlands just didn´t look right around the creche. I thought they should decorate the yard.

What a week! Tuesday, Mom and Dad put our beds in the back seat of the car and we rode aaalllll day and into the night to our nonfur Nana and GrandDad's house. Both of us got some lap time with whoever wasn't driving. I don't know why you can't stand on the round thing to look out the window, but it's always "Zumbi get over there... " We did stop for a nice long lunch at a rest stop with McDonald's hamburger broken up into our kibble. I think it was a doggie restaurant cuz there were lots of other pup's walking around and having lunch too.
We got to Nana's late, so didn't have much time to explore. They gave us our own room on the sun porch, but just like at home we get to come into the big bed in the morning. It's not as big as the one at home so Mom kept saying "are you two going to give me any room?"
The only problem at Nana's is she doesn't have a fence, so I had to go out on a leash. But there was so much to explore I snuck out between GrandDad's legs one time. Went four blocks before Dad caught up with me. Had a great time though. Particularly discovering splashing in and out of ditches. Mom was glad she hadn't had me special groomed for the trip.
Did get to play with a cute 4.5 month black lab, named Angel. We chased around the cul de sac for a good half hour. She was visiting across the street from real close to where my cuz Finn lives. I think Mom was asking about the way so we can go visit Finn and Skye.
On Thanksgiving Mom's brother Bruce, wife Sonya and kids Austin and Sam came too. Mom and Nana and Sonya spent most of the time in the kitchen, but we had lots of humans to play with. We were real good during dinner. Big dogs eat first. Dad cleaned off all the Turkey from the bones and we got a very special dish with turkey and even some mashed potatoes.
I think we're leaving today but we're not going straight home. Fergie is so worried about her sweet Skye she wants to go see him for herself... and Mom says yes.
