A new Friend!

I had been barking just all morning because I was talking to a new doggy outside. Finally my foster parents let me out and lo and behold a new red heeler lives next door! I was so excited. We chased each other along the fence for awhile and I barked, wagging my tail all excited. A new friend!

Park Time

I went to the park with Rod and Jac and Jac's mom today. We all piled into the truck and the first stop was Arby's. While we were at Arby's a lady saw me in the car and gave me a doggy treat!

We went to the park then with the arby's food. Rod walked me around on my leash and when he was done it was Jac's turn. Jac took me down to the pond to take a drink. There were a lot of kids there and I wanted to play with them all. JAc would invite the kids to pet me. I had one little boy hugging me around the neck and playing with my face. That's okay, I love the attention and I just licked him crazy.

I wanted to hop into this guy's truck too. I love truck rides! He said that I looked like a fox. I've never seen a fox but they all said I was pretty. Then on the way back Jac took me up to a little girl to pet. Well, I was already dragging her that way. The little girl was told it was okay to pet me and that I wanted to visit with her. After she pet me she told her mommy, "I pet the doggie!"

I was so tired from playing that I actually stayed with Jac on the way back to the picnic table instead of pulling on my leash. When we got home again I drank a lot of water and then conked out in front of the fan.

I just like to chew.

Today I chewed on Jac's my little pony. She cried for about twenty minutes. She didn't yell at me, she just cried for about twenty minutes. I felt really bad and was licking her hand and stuff, but she was really mad at me. I am not allowed in the red room anymore and they bought another baby gate to put over the other one to keep me in the kitchen. But, realizing that I love chewing stuff, I got more rawhides and another chew toy. I can't help it, I like to chew on toys. I chewed a pound puppy and a stuffed kitty that Rod and Jac got on their last vacation. Jac cried about that one too.

I'm sneaky.

Okay, I watched the humans a lot and I noticed that they can step over the baby gate. Sooo I did it too. They didn't like that and raised it. Sooo I crawled under it. They didn't like that either so they put an aquarium and circular saw in the box at the hole. Guess what? I pulled the saw box away and got under it anyway.

They didn't like that either. Now they have a chair there blocking it. I'll find a way to get past it. I always do cuz I'm sneaky.

Learning new tricks.

Eveyone is really excited cuz I do this thing now called "shake". If I sit down and then they say shake and I hold up my paw, they get all excited. I get treats then which is really what it is all about.

The boys came over.

Nancy came over with her two min pins Big Red and Mousse. New doggies to play with! They were really really tiny. After playing with Phantom, I wasn't sure what to make of these two that were the same size as the orange fluffy cat. I kept urging them to follow me and play, but they were scared and stayed with their mom. That is silly. There is nothing to be scared of here-well, except maybe the black kitty.

Phantom came over!

Phantom came over! I love to play with Phantom. Phantom was excited too, so excited she pooped all over the floor. Her mommy was mad and Phantom had to stay outside for awhile. She got to go out, I'm jealous.

I was a bad girl and I peed on the floor three times. I got tired of mom rubbing my nose in it, so I went when she took me outside. I played with Phantom all day, running around the house and jumping on all the furniture. Then we would get tired, take a nap, then do it all over again.

Oh yeah, Phantom is a year old Harlequin Great Dane, so she makes me look tiny. I walk right under her.

I want the one behind your back.

I was a sleepy one today, but I don't like to sleep in the daytime cuz I might miss something fun. I find myself dozing off, my eyes closing and then someone will stand up and walk to another room. Then I just have to follow them. They might be giving me a treat or something.

But they keep tricking me, trying to get me to learn stuff instead of just giving me the treat. And don't try to give me the same treat that was one the floor. I know better. I want the one that hasn't been on the floor. The one in your hand you have behind your back. Ha! You thought I didn't know.

Does it get any better?

Today I got to play around the house all day. I love playing around the house all day. They take down that baby gate and then I go running! I like to sit on the couch with everyone and play with Rod. Misty had me do silly tricks for treats. She was teasing me and placing a treat on the ground right in front of me and then telling me to stay. Well, I showed her. I inched up closer and closer and rolled on my back, stretched my neck and got it! I'm so sneaky.

I've decided my favorite place to be is under the computer table. It's my new doghouse. Otherwise I sleep on the blue fleece blanket by the dryer and chew on my bones. Today that fluffy orange cat was sitting where I wanted to sit. As much as a stared at him, he wouldnt' move. That's okay, I am sitting there now.

They don't let me stay outside anymore since I ran away. I try to dart past them to go outside when the door opens, but they grab me. I must be sneakier.
